Ohio Youth Development's Goals

  • Increase access to afterschool activities for children from low-income and marginalized communities.

  • Provide academic support and enrichment programs that improve academic performance and reduce achievement gaps for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

  • Develop and implement fitness and healthy development programs that promote positive physical and mental health outcomes for children.

  • Increase the diversity and cultural competency of our staff and volunteers to better serve children from diverse backgrounds.

  • Collaborate with community organizations and leaders to address systemic racism and classism in our community.

  • Continuously evaluate and assess the impact of our programs on children's academic and social-emotional development.

  • Increase community awareness and support for our mission and programs through outreach and engagement efforts.
